For those of you who didn't already read this on Brittany's post, let me share...
Alan and I along with Corben went to join Brittany, Jeff and the kids at Wal Mart. We spent one happy hour enjoying our stay and started out to the parking lot. At which time Alan looks at me and says "I don't have the keys. He had a look of panic on his face since he didn't know where he could have possible lost them in the store. I had my set of keys but was still interested in finding his. So I suggested he look in the car just in case they had dropped on the seat or the floor as he was getting out. Keep in mind we were both standing near the car at this time. He went into the driver side of the car, then came back to where I was standing, holding the keys. I was relieved that he had found them, until he told me where they were.
He said he had just taken them out of the ignition and that the car was running the whole time we were in the store. Which concerns me more.
1. The fact that he left them in car car with it running.
2. The fact that we both were standing near the car and didn't hear it running.
Is this a sign of what is to come as we get older? I hope not!
