Stand back kids, this is how a snow man is made. (Brittany rolling out a body part of one of our snow men).
One snow man was not enough, so we made a whole happy family. That is what Corben says all the time. He will find me cooking in the kitchen or see one of his Aunts over and ask me. "Is the whole happy family coming over?" He loves it when they all get together. So it was only appropriate to make one for our back yard.
We were nervous to roll out too many snow men for fear it would ruin the look of the blanket of snow that had fallen. Usually when it snows here it is short lived and melts rather fast. But as you can see by the next morning it was all covered again in a thick blanket of snow. It was such a beautiful sight. Oh, and the poor happy family, wasn't too happy by morning. Guess we need a little more experience in building snow men.
This was the view from the front of my house looking up the street. I guess that is why they cancelled school. I for one wasn't looking forward to driving the school bus on those roads. Glad we were able to stay home and enjoy it rather then dread it. Sorry for those who are not employed by the school district and had to still go to work.
